UP CLOSE AT THE COMMONS

Get close to trees, birds and vegetables 😊 on this exploratory art workshop at the beautiful Te Kawakawa Commons, a community native garden in Melrose overlooking Lyall Bay. There are bush tracks, secret hidey holes and sea views- a magical place!

We will examine the soil, leaves and tree trunks and anything else that looks interesting, copying the patterns we see into our own work. We will experiment with rubbing and printing from found materials and make marks with twigs, stems and stones. We will be inspired and feel good😊

When: Saturday February 23, 2019 10am - 2pm
Where:Te Kawakawa Commons, Melrose

Exchange: $45
